Producer Map
Crushed stone production is a vital industry in the State of Missouri. It employs more than 2,500 people with a combined payroll of more than $70,000,000 annually. Millions of tons of crushed stone aggregate is produced each year in the state - about 10 tons for each of Missouri's citizens. MLPA members are spread across the state, delivering product locally to construction firms, city, county and state government and local home construction. About one-half of all crushed stone production is used for publicly-funded projects, such as highways, bridges, water/sewer systems, government buildings, airports, etc. Limestone is mined in 92 of Missouri's 114 counties.
